The disease characterizes vayu having light, changing, and unstable behaviour. Increase in the un-stability and dynamics of vayu leads to extreme tremors, nervousness, sleeplessness, disorder in menstruation, frequent bowel and lack in concentration.

Vayu experiences increase in the lightness, making the body lose weight. Diving into the basic nature of Pitta which is hot, the hyperthyroidism patient sweats abnormally high and becomes heat intolerable.
